Containment Mechanics Wiki

The mathematical formulas, server physics algorithms, and economic models powering Jump To Steal SCP Monsters.

Vertical Leap Formula

In Jump To Steal SCP Monsters, vertical platform clearance is calculated strictly as:

ClearanceHeight (m) = [BaseJumpPower * BootsMultiplier * (1 + GroupBonus)] * 0.85

Where GroupBonus equals 0.10 for members of Code&Bricks. Upgrading boots multiplies the entire base value rather than adding flat bonuses, making boot upgrades the highest ROI investment in the game.

Weight Degradation Matrix

Each anomaly in your backpack incurs an extraction velocity reduction:

  • Lightweight (1 Slot): 0% to 5% sprint decay.
  • Medium (2 Slots): 10% to 15% sprint decay, requiring greater jump lead-up.
  • Heavy (3+ Slots): 25%+ speed penalty, completely disabling double-jump boosts until deposited.

Offline AFK Cash Accumulation

When logged out, your base continues generating passive containment revenue at 50% of the active rate for up to 12 hours. Having SCP-4999 (Someone To Watch Over Us) equipped in your base elevates this offline efficiency to 100%, allowing players to double their passive income while away from the keyboard.
